Does (Not) Exist... is a book that may or may not exist, depending, of course, on how seriously you take that delightful disaster known as mental health. If you are looking for cheerful poems about flowers and sunshine, you've made a terrible mistake. This book does have such poetry and a few other things that might make otherwise sensible people smile. The mistake lies in that here you will find a collection of poetry which is at times light-hearted. More often, however, you will find yourself stumbling along an aching, snarling and collapsing labyrinth of words which involve heartbreak, identity crisis, the sort of mental health that can be described as ""poor"", and worst of all... romantic ideas... This collection is part love-story, eulogy and existential scavenger hunt. Mostly it is a harsh reminder that being human is far more playful than anyone would like to admit. Some poems unravel with sarcasm. Others bleed with sincerity. Most only make messes which is, frankly, the point entirely. If you find yourself identifying with any part of this book, it is already too late. If you've ever fallen in love, fallen apart, or fallen into the trap of wondering who you really are when no one is looking, as far as you know, this collection is waiting for you. It's best, as most things are, to let this thing continue to not exist for the sake and safety of the community.
