His research focuses on geo-ecclesiology during Late Antiquity. Peter Van Nuffelen is Professor of Ancient History at Ghent University, Belgium. The recipient of two ERC grants, he works on the history of religion, historiography and political thought of Late Antiquity and the first millennium.
