I was impressed by the author's credentials and the information covered in the book. It covers some important points about storytelling, writing scripts, editing, and more. My nephew has enjoyed the book and has used it to hone his work. Author InformationJames R (Jim) Martin is an Emmy award-winning director, writer, and producer of film, television, video, and multimedia. Professor Martin taught film and video production at Columbia College Chicago for thirteen years. He was course director of the documentary course at Full Sail University for twenty years and taught directing at the University of Central Florida for one year. He has made independent fiction and nonfiction feature and short films. He is the author of several nonfiction books including, Documentary Directing and Storytelling, Actuality Interviewing and Listening, and Create Documentary Films, Videos, and Multimedia, among other works.
