Overview

A new edition to the popular Do You Know series! Everything you want to know about tigers accompanied by humorous illustrations by Sampar. Did you know... -- Just like very person's fingerprints are unique, so are the stripes on every tiger's head -- In India, the number of tigers has dropped by half in the past 5 years. There are only approximately 1,000 left today. That's an average of one tiger death per day.

""This book will appeal to animal lovers and reluctant readers. The text is simple enough for children in grade 3, but the appeal is wide enough that older children will want to read this series as well. Highly Recommended."" -- CM Magazine

Aside from his pets and the fact that he still practices veterinary medicine, Michel Quintin is now content to observe deer, foxes, wild turkeys and other animals that come to the window of his house the country. Nature, as you may have guessed, is his greatest source of inspiration. Samuel Parent, Pen name Sampar, was born in 1973 in Victoriaville Quebec. He is a self-taught illustrator and cartoonist.
