Author Information

AILEEN FISHER (1906 2002) is the author of many beloved books of poetry for children. Her large body of work focused mainly on nature, quietly introducing children to the beauty of the outdoors. Aileen received the NCTE Award for Excellence in Poetry in 1978.SARAH FOX DAVIES's work has appeared in leading wildlife publications, and she has illustrated a number of picture books for children. Sarah lives in the country, where there are a few people and quite a lot of rabbits.
