Overview

Do I Amuse You'? is an original feature length screenplay that includes a series of comedy sketches. Ten acts appear in alphabetical order. By way of Illustration, ranging from Cultural Differences to First Date Etiquette and from Politicians can't be Trusted to Teachers Don't Do It For the Money, Do I amuse You? endeavours to be a real hoot. Laughter is good for the soul. Here is a short blurb for each act: 1. Cultural Differences - a married expat couple poke fun at the culture that they struggle to deal with on a daily basis, 2. Culture Shock - a pair of intrepid travellers are aghast (culturally speaking) as they face culture shock during their journeys, 3. First Date Etiquette - explores the dating life of a single man seeking love, 4. Lager Louts - follows groups of hooligans as they go on the rampage in Amsterdam, 5. Politicians Can' t Be Trusted - a group of unsavoury types who work in the world of politics decide to commit a crime together, 6. Road Rage - two road ragers get into an altercation which is full of unexpected happenings, 7. Silent Section - what should be a place of harmony turns out to be anything but, 8. Snobbery - witness a snooty couple unashamedly spreading their brand of snobbishness, 9. Teachers Don't Do It For The Money - The Dutch Minister of Education needs a lot of help solving serious issues and we see how teachers, who lack appreciation, get treated and 10 Tourist Trap - while on trips abroad, another travelling twosome are taken back by all kinds of tricks employed by those who work in the Moroccan tourist industry.
