Reviews

Divya, a soon-to-be fourth grader, recently moved with her family from her home in Delhi, India, to a new country halfway across the world. Divya cherished her old home, her Nani, and her friends, and isn't pleased about the move, especially sharing a room with a cousin she hardly knows. This heartwarming story follows a young girl navigating a major life change while staying connected to her culture and the things she values. The vibrant, cartoonish illustrations enhance the uplifting tone of the narrative. The text is well-suited for the target age group, and the theme of adjusting to a new school will resonate with children facing similar experiences. VERDICT A must-have story for every collection about starting over in a new country and school.-- ""School Library Journal""
