Jack started writing this book very early on, when he realized what was happening in his divorce case of five years. Millions were at stake and everyone came in to get their share. His facts are indisputable and verifiable and some were actually supplied by legal insiders. The book is an enjoyable read, even for those not in the legal profession. It is primarily for these - the Public that Jack wrote this book, ie. to make everyone aware of what they could encounter, should they have the misfortune of being sucked into this sewer - the NY Legal System. Judges use their gavels to destroy people's lives, without ANY consideration for the TRUTH or for JUSTICE, especially if there is money involved. It is noteworthy that Jack claims not to have experienced any professionalism or integrity in anyone in the entire system, save one judge in the Family Court. The title of Divorce or Murder, is really indicative of what choices citizens are up against. To go through a divorce in this system is insane. Try arbitration at all costs and be fair. If that does not work, you might be better off doing something else that you can get away with, rather than go through the system. After all, you are, by law, permitted to defend your property, especially when it is willfully being stolen from you. It's tough, and you must be guided by the moral law, ie. the proposition of which is the greater evil. In the case of this book, the theft or the loss of your heirs inheritance. That sounds crazy, I know, but read the book and then decide.

Just a quick note about me. My name is Hans Schmid. Over the years, and especially while in College, lots of people called me Jack. I liked it - it was simpler, although the name Hans worked really well with the ladies in my dating years. I'm unremarkable and just go about my business and work with a very focused objective, which after marriage, was my family. I am loyal, honest, fun loving, have strong opinions, which I now often keep to myself, and I'm religious, but I do see the many flaws in the Catholic Church - mostly the administrators - Bishops, Cardinals and such. This book started out as being titled, DIVORCE OR MURDER. I was excited by that title.. I'd pick that book up and read it, but as I got to writing, I realized that this was totally about the courts and their indescribable corruption, in order to make a buck. As for my ex wife, she is a pathetic, antisocial figure caught up in the culture of crazy women's libbers and I'm sure she is bipolar. And although all of this was caused by her insatiable demand and desire for cash, that story is nothing new, and not worth writing about. The courts, on the other hand, have degenerated to an unprecedented degree and this degeneration is something that must be brought to your attention. This is a must read for anyone in the judiciary and certainly for all of us. We are all at risk. Society, at large, and its survival as viable, functioning and to a degree, moral, is very much at risk. It is being destroyed. After sometime with the title change to CORRUPT COURTS, the title was reinvented back to my son's preference, DIVORCE OR MURDER. Hope you don't mind. As I told you, my son is more than I could ever have hoped for in a son in an adult relationship. I had such a relationship with my Mother, and as with her, I would do anything either of them asked of me.
