Anette Hellman holds a PhD in Education and works as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Communication and Learning at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research interests include issues related to critical childhood studies, such as norm and normality constructions in children's everyday lives and masculinity and care in early childhood education.Kirsten Lauritsen is a social anthropologist and Associate Professor at Nord University, Norway. She has been a researcher since 1995, and her main areas of interest include immigration and refugee studies, reception centers for asylum seekers and cultural diversity in kindergartens.
