This exciting new volume reveals new ways of understanding the right to participate in culture as envisioned by Article 30 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Constructed around the human right-based model of disability, the sociolegal studies chart the variable distance between the vision of Article 30 and the experiences of persons with disabilities when exercising their legal right to culture though arts practice and heritage.
