Overview

In the 1600s, Lucifer and his entourage of demons are summoned to the land shaped like a mitten. The Thunderbird Ani, passes the torch to Lucifer to negotiate a new treaty with the angel Gabriel. He accepts the role with honor, and his brethren, Lionel, Lydia, Lilian, and his mate Valek, are determined to follow him to the top. The demons break ground and build a new village of supernaturals. Gabirel's sister Gabriella doesn't agree with the change in leadership from the demon hierarchy, even though she is overruled by Mikeal and Icarus. Her ill motivations could stem from a village full of abnormally strong humans. Once negotiations start, rumors fly and relationships crumble. Forcing Lucifer to shoulder all the burdens and make sacrifices he never dreamed of.
