Loren Eiseley in his book: ""The Immense Journey"" This book describes how life on earth is possible only because life has evolved to use the first and second most abundant elements in the earth's crust, oxygen and silicon, for protection from the toxic third most abundant element aluminum. The magic in paleolithic drinking water that provided this evolved protection for 2-million years of human evolution is a molecule called orthosiicic acid (OSA).
