Adam Hodges is author of The 'War on Terror' Narrative: Discourse and Intertextuality in the Construction and Contestation of Sociopolitical Reality (2011, Oxford University Press), and co-editor of Discourse, War and Terrorism (2007, John Benjamins Publishing). His work in discourse analysis examines the social, cultural, and political dimensions of language use, particularly the way discourse intersects with power to shape the social world in which we live.
