OverviewThis is an academic thesis based on critical scholarship. Here we see Dr. Milwood methodology at work effectively. His methodology is Forensic hermeneutic (indagation) research into the Transatlantic Slave Trade or the Transatlantic Slave Trade in Africans. The book is written specifically with the African Diaspora in mind, particularly Black Christians. His concentration is on the deliberate creation and philosophy to make the Black Race permanently powerless economically, politically, sociologically and psychologically. Slaves Autobiographical Narratives especially women narratives received warm laudation and appreciative immortalization from Dr. Milwood. About the Author Dr. Robinson Milwood is an African-Caribbean and Methodist Minister of Religion. Dr. Milwood served for 30 years as Minister and Superintendent of the Stoke Newington Mission Circuit. Dr. Milwood is a pioneer in Theological Empowerment and Educational Empowerment. Dr. Milwood concentrates especially on the Ethnographical and Demographical in relation to African-descendants. Dr. Milwood became the first West-Indian Superintendent Minister of the Methodist Church in Britain. Dr. Milwood was for many years a Senior Lecturer in Biblical and Religious Studies with Birkbeck College University of London. His Subjects were: The Old Testament, The New Testament, Pastoral Studies and Liberation Theology. He served also as Internal and External Examiner with Prof. Gordon Davies at Birmingham University dealing with Liberation Theology. Dr. Milwood is a graduate of: Birkbeck College University of London, Birmingham University, New York Theological Seminary and Greenwich University School of Theology.
