Table of ContentsReviewsAs a companion to his book, Essential Guide to Dual Sport Motorcycling, Adams has also produced a video on basic riding techniques. The video is made up of eight different lessons. They demonstrate how to ride over a variety of terrain. Each new lesson builds on the previous one in a logical order. Adams stresses the need for practice and good form. I found the video helpful for newer dual sport riders, but those looking for the latest MX speed secrets will be disappointed. . . .also includes a nice field guide handy for taking with you on the trail. I give it four out of four cylinders. - Editor Victor Wanchena, Minnesota Motorcycle Monthly Author InformationCarl Adams has been riding dual sport motorcycles for over 45 years, including a period of enduro racing in the 70s. More recently he has served as an officer (in various capacities) of an active dual sport riding club in Reno, Nevada. This book grew out of a training program Carl developed for club members who wanted to improve their riding skills and knowledge of the sport. The book has been expanded greatly beyond those origins.
