This list provides the staffs of British Diplomatic and Consular posts overseas in Commonwealth and foreign countries, as well as in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London. Published annually, it describes the organization of the service and the careers of its members.Part I covers Home Departments, Part II British Mission overseas, and Part III consists of chronological lists of Secretaries of State, Ministers of State, Permanent Under-Secretaries and Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Permanent Reprentatives to international organizations and Governors and Commanders-in-Chief of Overseas Territories. The final part is an alphabetical listing with bibliographical notes of staff of the Senior Grade and Grades 4-10 in the Diplomatic Service, officers of Grade S1-S3 of the Secretarial Branch, officers of the Executive Assistant Branch and officers of the Security Officer Branch.
