Overview

The war was over. Earth had just earned the respect of the galaxy after defeating a bitter enemy in a grueling war. Major James Danvers was looking forward to some much needed rest and relaxation back on Earth, but the most decorated soldier in human history caught the eye of Earth's Premiere. He was needed for one more mission; to protect the Premiere as she negotiated a treaty to enter earth into a league of planets for mutual defense. The job was simple; rub elbows with some aliens, keep a low profile, and protect the Premiere at all costs. Uninvited guests had a different agenda. With a facility crawling with terrorists, cut off from aid, Danvers must place his trust in an alien security assistant and his own abilities. The fate of the galaxy rests on his broad shoulders and the major knows how this type of diplomacy works; at the business end of a barrel of a loaded gun.
