Author Information

Helge Ole Bergesen is a political scientist at the University of Oslo, Norway, and Senior Research Fellow at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute at Lysaker. He has published widely on international energy issues, North-South conflict and environmental matters. Leiv Lunde is State Secretary for Development and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norway. He was formally consultant with ECON, Centre for Economic Analysis, Oslo.
