S. J. Bushue is a member of SCBWI and HWKT (Heartland Writers for Kids and Teens). Post-graduate studies in helping children learn through visual, auditory and multiple language formats have guided her passion for creating playful picture books that are both entertaining and educational. Her focus is writing multilingual and special situation children's books for pre-school and early-elementary-school aged children. Speaking and reading the easier language allows for more effortless transfer of literacy skills and concepts promoting overall language mastery development. Cassie Allen, a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, specializes in illustrations and creative writing. Her artistic creative talents are enhanced by her eye for color and composition. Personal works include an interpretive rendition of the Mona Lisa, on display with the works of Da Vinci: The Exhibition at Union Station in Kansas City.
