What an excellent dinosaur coloring book for kids! The dinosaurs themselves are very realistic looking, set in their natural habitats as a backdrop. What I loved was that the authors included the dinosaur names right below the picture. Dinosaur-loving children want to know precisely what dinosaur they're looking at. They can figure out the easy ones like raptors or tyrannosaurus rex, but it's sometimes hard to distinguish the lesser-known ones. Not only do they include the names, but they have used an open font so that the name itself can be colored. How fun! The book includes the typical dinosaurs right at the beginning, like the velociraptor and the brachiosaurus, but it also has ones that are less commonly seen in children's dinosaur books like urbacodon and elaphrosaurus and even marine ones like mosasaurus and kronosaurus. Recommended book! If you have a dinosaur-crazy kid in your family who enjoys coloring-or, heck, if you like realistic dinosaurs yourself-pick up this book. I'm sure you'll be glad you did.
