Overview

Health is shaped by a variety of factors. Many go beyond the body, impacting the ways people think and feel or the communities they are part of. This series walks readers through six of these dimensions, describing what each one involves as well as steps readers can take to promote health for themselves and others. Each book also includes a special feature that explores how dimensions impact one another. Books also feature a table of contents, informative sidebars, a reading comprehension quiz, a glossary, additional resources, and an index. This Focus Readers series is at the Navigator level, aligned to reading levels of grades 3-5 and interest levels of grades 4-7.
