She received her Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University. Her research interests include inter-governmental cooperation issues in urbanization and digital urban governance. Yongping Zhang is an assistant professor at the School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University, and the deputy director of the ZJU-CMZJ Joint Lab on Data Intelligence and Urban Future. He received his Ph.D. degree from University College London.
