OverviewThis book introduces a three-level model—Material, Design, and Life—linking digital modeling with environmental assessment and life-cycle analysis. Digital Twin Supporting Blockchain in the AEC Sector. Bio-Based Materials for nZEB Buildings explores how advanced digital technologies can drive sustainability in architecture and construction. Angelica Rocco presents an innovative framework combining Digital Twin, Blockchain, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance the design and management of nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB). Emphasizing bio-based composite materials made from raw earth and natural fibers, it bridges traditional techniques and contemporary innovation. Offering both theoretical insights and practical tools, this book supports researchers and professionals in advancing the ecological and digital transition toward a more resilient and sustainable built environment.
