OverviewHigher Education Institutions (HEIs) – public and private universities and colleges – have long demonstrated their resilience; bouncing back, surviving and thriving in crises. The Covid-19 pandemic is perhaps the greatest disrupter of education systems in history, having impacted an estimated 1.6 billion learners in over 190 countries, and laid bare the weaknesses and challenges faced by HEIs. In this book, Lloyd Waller, proposes the adoption of a digital transformation strategy for HEIs and presents a strategic framework for not only understanding the issues at play within HEIs but also, shares a model providing a detailed step by step guide for planning and implementation. Free of technical language and therefore accessible to the administrator, technocrat, and manager alike, the concepts are broken down and easily understandable by any one working on any aspect of a digital transformation strategy for an HEI.
