Mohamed Amine Frikha is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Supply Chain Program at the College of Applied Sciences, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Economics, as well as several Master's degrees in Transportation Science, Logistics Engineering, Accounting and Finance, and Information and Communication Technology, reflecting a multidisciplinary academic background. He has extensive experience in the field of economics, particularly in teaching and research at international academic institutions. His expertise lies in supply chain management, logistics, customs operations, and sustainable transportation systems, with a special focus on sustainability and the digital transformation of global trade. His research program focuses on sustainability in general, integrating artificial intelligence and advanced analytics into logistics and cross-border operations. It addresses key challenges such as supply chain optimization, customs modernization, risk management, and carbon emission reduction. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences on topics including carbon emission reduction strategies and demand forecasting using artificial intelligence and logistics information systems. Dr. Mohamed Amine Frikha is actively involved in international research and capacity-building initiatives, having participated in programs and workshops organized by the World Customs Organization and European institutions. He is also an editor and contributor to several academic books, contributing to the ongoing discussions on sustainable and smart logistics systems.
