Author Information

Pnina O. Plaut is a professor of transport and urban planning and policy at the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion-IIT. Her research interests focus on smart cities and new mobility services and the nexus among ICT social networks, travel behaviour and urban environments. She is Initiator and Chair of the EU Horizon 2020 COST Action TU1305 titled: Social Networks and Travel Behaviour. Dalit Shach-Pinsly is an architect and urban designer who is currently a senior lecturer at the Technion–IIT. Her research deals with measuring and evaluating diverse qualitative aspects of the urban environment, such as the Security Rating Index (SRI), presented in her article in LAND journal. She is Co-Initiator of the EU Horizon 2020 COST Action TU1305 titled: Social Networks and Travel Behaviour.
