It covers the basics and the technical aspects of this emerging imaging modality, presents a complete review of the literature on the topic, and discusses the possible impact of this technique on the future of the field. The clinical cases and video clips are quite helpful and help readers get a feel for breast tomosynthesis. (Michael Sami Morrow, Doody's Book Reviews, August, 2016) This book is a very good introduction to DBT and in particular it provides an excellent source of case studies, which can be used as a teaching tool. For those more experienced in the use of DBT it serves as a good reference guide. I would recommend this book for both radiologists and radiographers.
