Raised in a family funeral home in Fort Worth, Texas, he learned early the importance of listening, service, and showing up for people during life's most difficult moments.Martin is the owner of Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home and Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home. When he's not writing, he enjoys golf, time with family, and the company of his dogs, who occasionally believe they have stories of their own to tell. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas.
