Author Information

Gwendalyn Belle, a native Oregonian, wrote Digger Dog during her fourth grade year, continuing to be inspired at her school and by her mom (Young Adult Author, Roslyn McFarland). When not in school, Gwendalyn enjoys music, swimming, playing with her sister, romping with the family's dogs, hugging on the two extra large cats, and her guppies. Gwendalyn is already working on the next two stories in the Color Your Own Story Book series, featuring Doodle Duck and Digger Dog's friends. April Bullard lives with her husband aboard their houseboat on the Columbia River near Vancouver, Washington. She admits to 55 years of age, over 35 years of marriage, mother of 3, grandmother of 4, navy veteran, former member of the SCA, current member of NSDAR, NSCDXVIIC and a fondness for chocolate. She creates work inspired by living cradled on the river as an artist, author, photographer, and musician.
