Overview

This CD-ROM is an invaluable information source for libraries specializing in philosophy, theology and religious studies. The current CD-ROM contains bibliographic details of 100,000 articles from 3,400 humanities journals, festschriften and reviews. The entries are written in 34 different languages, some of them in more than one language. The articles are in 52 per cent in English, 30 per cent in German, 6 per cent in French, 3,5 per cent in Italian, 1,4 per cent in Spanish and 1 per cent in Dutch. In combination with the retrospective CD-ROMs 1983/2-1996 and 1997-2006 it catalogues a total of more than 890,000 articles from 5,500 journals. Editors have catalogued the data according to standard subject headings in English and German. This ensures speedy access based on subject matter, independent of the source language.
