Caroline Stern ist eine europäische Autorin, Journalistin und Human Experience Designerin. Sie wurde 1979 in Plauen, Vogtland geboren, wo sie die Wende und den Mauerfall hautnah als Neunjährige miterlebte. Zum Studium der Germanistik, Anglistik und Medien ging sie in den Westen: an die Universität Marburg. Mit Stationen als Reporterin in London, Paris, Südamerika, Berlin (Welt) reiste die Stern um den Globus. Sie schrieb Kritiken, Short Stories und Gedichte und gewann Preise. Das Leben des Max ist ihr erster Roman. Caroline Stern lebt freischaffend in Berlin.
