Author InformationMartin Rheinheimer, geboren 1960 in Reinbek bei Hamburg, studierte in Kiel und Thessaloniki Geschichte, lateinische und neugriechische Philologie. Promotion 1989, Habilitation 1998. Seit 1999 lehrt er als Professor fur Maritim- und Regionalgeschichte an der Syddansk Universitet, zunachst auf dem Campus in Esbjerg, seit 2013 in Odense (Danemark).
