Jakub Adamski studierte Kunstgeschichte in Krakau (Promotion 2011) und Wien. Seit 2012 lehrt und forscht er an der Universität Warschau (Habilitation 2019, Professur 2023). Sein Forschungsfeld umfasst die gotische Kirchenbaukunst in West- und Mitteleuropa, das Phänomen der „Architektur um 1300“ sowie die Forschungsgeschichte der Kunst des Mittelalters seit dem 17. Jahrhundert.
