Overview

Erstmals steht mit dieser Publikation die Plakatsammlung KÖNA im Fokus. Vertreten sind in ihr die großen Namen der Pariser Schule ebenso wie Künstler der französischen Abstraktion, die wie Bazaine und Manessier weniger internationale Bekanntheit erlangten. Die meisten Werke entstanden als Lithografien in der Pariser Druckerei Mourlot. Diese eröffnete 1966 eine Dependance in New York. Und so bereichern auch klangvolle Namen wie Jackson Pollock, Robert Rauschenberg und Keith Haring den fulminanten Band.
