Author Information

Ken Nelson is a former Engineer-in-Charge, Farm Water Supplies, Australia, and currently works as a consulting engineer and technical writer. Charles Kerr was a civil engineer and a specialist in water supply, and was, until his death in 2001, the technical editor of Waterlines, the international journal journal for low-cost water supply and sanitation. Robert Legg is a consulting engineer, working mainly water resources, hydraulic structures and applied hydrology. He is a member of the British Dams Society and the British Hydrological Society.
