It deserves the highest grades for text, layout, readability, and illustrations. It was written for diagnostic pathologists and all those who have liked the previous volumes in the series should buy this one as well. I can assure them that they will not be disappointed. On the other hand, those who have been overwhelmed with the extent of coverage of previous volumes will find the same situation here. This is not a book for those pathologists, who do not like or do not care for nephropathology and/or do not see many kidney biopsies in their practice. It will appeal most to academic and practicing diagnostic nephropathologists who will find in it a lot of personalized empirical hints, diagnostic pearls, and systematically presented, generally useful data. The book definitely belongs in all major hospital and medical school libraries, departmental libraries of pathology and nephrology departments, and deserves to be on the shelves of all practicing nephropathologists and nephrologists.
