Author Information

Dr. Steve McAllister received his Ph.D. in archaeology in 2008 with a dissertation on Middle Bronze Age Fortifications in the Southern Levant. He is Assistant Executive Dean of the College of Archaeology at Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He has taught courses in Biblical Hebrew, Koine Greek, archaeology, and ancient pottery. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Physics and an MA in Biblical Languages and Studies. Dr. McAllister participated in the Tall el Hammam Excavation Project for the last five years, starting as a digger and is now a Field Supervisor. He has been studying the excavation pottery from Tall el Hammam for four years
