Reviews

One of the main strengths of this book is its size. Including the index, the book runs to just 132 pages but I don't see this as a weakness. In fact, it is a strength of this book at it means that it is quite feasible to read the book from cover to cover without too much difficulty. This is a huge bonus as despite its slim dimensions, it packs in a lot of data in an easy-to-read format. All in all, there is a lot of fascinating information here which gives a rounded and grounded tour of diabetes in a slim volume. Great credit to the authors who have produced this clever and informative book in a very readable format. Big is not necessarily beautiful and a busy clinician can easily read this whole book in a relatively short space of time and as a result be well acquainted with modern thinking in diabetes. --Dr Harry Brown, June 2021
