Author Information

About Me I am a person who is currently living with Diabetes and who understands Diabetes. So who better to write about Diabetes than me. I have lived with this illness since 1998. I am writing this book to help someone. I know that if I can help just one person then the time I have took to write this book will have been worth it. Currently I have a radio show that I work tirelessly on. When I first became a diabetic I was in school. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete the course, because I was hospitalized for having diabetes. I have earned 1150 hours I needed to have completed and passed. I left with the grade of an A. But I did not finish the course. I have since that time in my life focused on my health. I have lost 135 pounds. But I gained some of the weight back. I am now working hard to lose weight and stay healthy. I have lost 5 inches in my waist. The disease diabetes can be controlled and also I am controlling diabetes, It is not controlling me.
