Dia de Los Muertos or in English Day of the Dead is a celebration that takes place every year in the last day of October and goes on for the first two days of November. Every day being a special day when people remember those people they love who have passed on. Part of the remembrance is bringing food and flowers to the gravesites of those they love. It is a celebration of their life and in their memory. The prints here are for cutting out, framing and hanging. They are part of a series that I painted, the originals measuring 3x4 feet and painted in oil. They represent the love of family. Each painting has wonderful images that represents an aspect of this celebration. When you get the book, cut the images out, of course be careful and do it at your own risk with scissors or whatever tools you would like to use. Then frame and hang them.
