About the Author: Martina Fabricci is a research scientist pursuing a PhD in immunogenomics with a MSc degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology with advanced courses from Harvard and MIT. Her key focus is on researching and understanding the various CRISPR-Cas9 applications, and exploring the promise it holds for researchers, students, scientists, as well as patients.
