Overview

Emma Sinclair is a small town detective in North Carolina, when a homicide case lands on her desk. The killer was killing women that looked eerily similar to Emma and left cryptic messages on the bodies trying to get her attention. She has certain gifts to make her great at her job, but her and her partner can't handle the case alone so the FBI forms a task force when the third woman is killed. She was trying to find a connection between herself and the victims when in walks the hot, astonishingly handsome Special Agent Adam Reynolds. When they first met Adam, was talking to his two colleagues and did not have time to deal with the locals. He reached out his hand not looking her in the eyes, until after he felt the same jolt as her. Emma was used to dealing with cocky arrogant feds, but this one was different and the attraction she felt for him was profound. Emma had recently found out that she was a fallen angel. That was the only thing that could be a connection to the case. She had to come clean and told everyone what she was because they were looking for human killers, not demons possessing humans. After some time together and going through a few obstacles that were thrown in their path they had to decide whether to keep letting the invisible strings of desire pulling at them keep them apart or see what was really going on. This story is action packed and a fast moving adventure about crime, passion and suspense. Buckle up you are in for a crazy ride.
