He received his Ph.D. from Georgia State University in 2000. Dr. Vahidov has published papers in a number of academic journals, including Journal of MIS, Decision Support Systems, Information and Management, E-Commerce Research and Applications, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, Fuzzy Sets and Systems , and several others.
