OverviewThis book concentrates on the modern methods and technology used in the analysis and design of new steel superstructures for modern railway bridges. While the focus is on replacement superstructures, many of the principles and methods outlined will also be useful in the maintenance and rehabilitation of existing steel railway bridges. The author provides introductory and general information and then examines topics including load development, structural analysis, and the detailed design of modern steel railway bridge superstructures. A practical reference for experienced bridge engineers and researchers, this book is also a learning tool for students and engineers new to the field. Full Product DetailsAuthor: John F.
