Belén Montalvo nació en Madrid y estudió Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas. Siempre quiso vivir en Estados Unidos... y contarlo. Por eso, no tardó en abrir un blog en el que comenzó a narrar sus aventuras bajo el nombre de «Aló Miami», con el que ha cosechado un importante éxito en redes sociales. Es la creadora del pódcast «Aló Miami: desmitificando EE. UU.», Premio del Público 2021 por ASESPOD (Asociación de Escuchas de Podcasting), en el que desmonta los tópicos y explica la cultura del país en el que reside desde 2013. También ha colaborado en «Las tardes de verano» de RNE. En 2022, publicó Aprende Yankinglés con Aló Miami en Editorial Larousse.
