Meine These lautet: Da ein psychologischer Vertrag stets ein narratives Selbst bindet, bedingen vor allem kulturelle wie organisationale Narrative sein Zustandekommen und Fortbestehen. Der psychologische Vertrag bedingt wiederum auch seinerseits das Selbst-Narrativ. This paper wants to show that the governance perspective on the firm can be enriched by connecting the theory of psychological contracts with the theory of the narrative self. My thesis is: Because the psychological contract always binds a narrative self, particularly cultural and organizational narratives determine its occurrence and continuity. In turn, the psychological determines the narrative self.
