As well as being an introduction for those with no prior experience it provides much of the basic knowledge of medical subjects that any dentist will need for non-specialist examinations in an uncomplicated and concise format.

Chapters on Consent, Being on Call, Anticoagulation, Venepuncture, Minor Oral Surgery, Wound Closure, Histopathology and Keeping Out Of Trouble have been updated.
