Clarissa Vazquez was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. After serving in the United States Air Force, she returned to Colorado in 2001 and founded the Colorado Coalition of Paranormal Investigators in 2004. There, she found a genuine passion for ghosts and her subsequent calling as a minister. Her first book Ghosts of the Heart: A Paranormal Investigator's Journey was published in the spring of 2011, with Ghost Hunting in Colorado following that year. In 2014, Clarissa released her first children's book, No Monsters Here! designed to empower children to take control of their environment and eliminate the fear of things that go bump in the night.
