Overview

Utilizing the ten planks of communism, Democratic Party Elitists: Totalitarian Wolves in Sheep's Clothing draws parallels with much of what has occurred in the United States since the Progressive Era, most of it implemented by the Democratic Party presidents, but some of it from the Republican side of the aisle. It is an analysis of the implementation of communist, or statist, rule in America and it clearly describes the strategies employed by the Democratic Party to achieve its goal of totalitarian rule. About the Author David E. Screws obtained a BBA in Management from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas, in 1974, followed by 32 years working in the oil industry. In 2001, he obtained a Master of Arts in American History from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and taught American history as an adjunct at the same school in the last five years of employment with the oil company. After taking early retirement in 2006, Screws spent ten years teaching American and World history at a private high school in Corpus Christi, Texas, while also teaching U.S. History as an adjunct at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi for seven years, plus three years at Texas A&M University at Kingsville. After leaving the high school, he taught U.S. History one more year at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Screws has two published articles, one in The Journal of Big Bend Studies exploring Hispanic contributions to the Texas Rangers in the 19th century and one on the concise history of gas processing operations in The Permian Historical Annual.
