As a kid, she spent all her time writing silly, spooky stories inspired by her favorite holiday: Halloween. Her first two books, Dem Bones and 5 Very Little Pumpkins, are perfect examples of all of her favorite things wrapped up into sweet stories for children to enjoy. Chason McKay is a drummer, percussionist, and a founding member of Willie Pearl. His rhythmic background was established while he was in high school, where he served as a section leader during his last two years. He began his transition from marching drums to drum kit in early 2016, after playing a philanthropic show with Willie Pearl members Henry Rogers and Ben Murphy. With a southern rock style underlaid with tones of the blues, he cites John Bonham, Don Henley, and Dave Grohl as inspiration.
